App Access
The app does not require you to create an account. On first launch, an anonymous identifier is generated automatically via Firebase Authentication (Anonymous Auth). This identifier is used solely to authenticate API requests to our backend and is not linked to your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.
Payment Information
Payment processing is handled exclusively by the Apple App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card information or other payment credentials.
Apphud processes App Store purchase receipts and subscription status solely for subscription management.
Usage Data
To provide the VPN service, we collect only the minimum technical information required for operation, including:
- Connection timestamps (not connection content)
- Amount of transferred data (not the transferred content)
- Selected server location
We do not collect or store:
- Browsing history
- DNS queries
- Destination IP addresses
- Traffic content
- Websites visited
- Files downloaded
- Communications transmitted through the VPN
- Any information that identifies your online activity
2. No-Logs Policy
OpenWay: Network & Security operates under a strict no-logs policy. We do not monitor, record, or store your VPN traffic, browsing history, DNS requests, destination IP addresses, or any information about your online activity.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the limited information described above solely to:
- Provide and maintain the VPN service
- Manage subscriptions through the Apple App Store
- Improve application reliability, stability, and user experience
- Detect and investigate technical abuse of the service in real time
- Respond to customer support requests
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We use a limited number of third-party service providers that process technical information solely to support the operation of the application.
Firebase (Google LLC)
We use:
- Firebase Authentication (Anonymous Auth)
- Firebase Remote Config
- Firebase Crashlytics
- Firebase Analytics
These services help us authenticate anonymous users, deliver remote configuration, diagnose crashes, and understand application performance and feature usage in aggregate.
Firebase may process anonymous application identifiers, aggregated usage events, technical diagnostic information, and crash reports in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Signals, advertising features, and ad personalization are disabled for this application.

We do not sell, rent, or disclose your personal information to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
We do not use advertising attribution SDKs or advertising tracking technologies within the application.

We may also disclose information only when required by applicable law or valid legal process.
6. Data Retention
Anonymous authentication identifiers are retained while the application is in use.
VPN activity logs are not retained beyond the active session.
You may request deletion of data associated with your anonymous identifier by contacting us.

We use industry-standard security measures, including WireGuard protocol encryption, secure infrastructure, encrypted communications, and regular security reviews to protect user data.
8. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
